Job Description: VP Director of New Business Development Government Contracting
Fanz Entertainment is seeking an experienced VP Director of New Business Development Government Contracting. This pivotal role requires the successful candidate to strengthen Fanz Entertainment’s relationship with State and Federal Government entities by providing exceptional customer service and satisfaction. Directors are also responsible for maximizing revenue potential and achieving all assigned sales objectives and goals within the Government sector. This position works closely with the Fanz Entertainment team and reports directly to the President.
This is a performance-based (commission-only with Stock Incentive Options) job, ideal for candidates capable of earning a mid to high 6-figure income. Successful candidates have the opportunity to work remotely from a home office. The company provides essential tools including email, telephone, CRM, marketing materials, and training. This position may also be open to sales associates unemployed for more than six (6) months who can work from home.
Compensation: $85,000.00 – $167,500.00 per year
Responsibilities:
- Utilize Government Contracting knowledge to drive strategic initiatives
- Provide expertise in sponsorship to guide venue partnerships
- Define and execute Fanz Entertainment’s strategy within the Government sector
- Identify and prioritize new business opportunities
- Enhance contracting effectiveness through innovative approaches
- Develop and implement best practices for Government interaction, sales, and service, with a strong understanding of the bidding process
- Establish metrics to assess sales team growth and performance, providing regular reports
- Craft compelling sales presentations using industry trends and case studies
- Analyze campaign performance metrics and recommend optimized media solutions
- Manage data related to Government consumption of company products and services
- Exceed sales, pricing, and yield goals for both personal and team targets
- Ensure clients receive superior sales and operational support
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Government contracting
- Comprehensive understanding of the Government bid process and operational search software
- Proficiency in telemarketing, social media, and data mining
- Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial mindset
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a drive to succeed
