We are seeking an experienced Regional Vice President of New Business Development to join our dynamic team and drive our advertising and sponsorship revenue growth.
Position Overview:
The Regional Vice President of New Business Development will be responsible for strengthening Sour Dog Media’s relationships with advertisers and maximizing total revenue potential. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the advertising industry, including working with agencies, corporate sales, and sponsorships. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and organizational skills, a strong work ethic, and a self-motivated, positive attitude. This is a commission-only position with significant earning potential for high performers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive advertising and sponsorship sales, maximizing revenue potential.
- Strengthen and expand relationships with advertisers, agencies, and corporate clients.
- Identify and prioritize new business opportunities, leveraging telemarketing, social media, and data mining techniques.
- Create and deliver persuasive sales presentations using market trends, case studies, and campaign performance statistics.
- Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, sales, and services within the advertising industry.
- Manage data related to the consumption of Sour Dog Media’s products and services, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
- Establish metrics to measure the growth and performance of the sales team, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Guide Sour Dog Media’s overall approach and focus in the advertising vertical, recognizing opportunities for innovative strategies.
- Ensure that clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service.
- Exceed sales, pricing, and yield goals for yourself and your team, driving high performance and results.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in the advertising industry, with a strong understanding of advertising and sponsorship sales.
- Proven track record of achieving high sales performance and revenue growth.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivation, and a positive attitude.
- Experience with telemarketing, social media, and data mining.
- Ability to work independently from a home office and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to create and deliver data-driven sales presentations.
- Experience in managing and mentoring sales teams.
- Availability to work from home, with leads provided.
