As we continue to expand our reach, we are seeking an experienced Director of New Business Development, National Sales Manager to join our team.
Position Overview:
The National Sales Manager – Director of New Business Development will be responsible for strengthening Sour Dog Media’s relationships with sports venues and aquariums by delivering exceptional customer service and satisfaction. The role involves maximizing total revenue potential and achieving all assigned sales objectives and goals. This is a remote position that requires a driven and entrepreneurial individual with a strong background in sponsorship sales and a thorough understanding of facility operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strengthen Sour Dog Media’s sponsorship knowledge to guide sports venues and aquariums.
- Define the company’s overall approach and focus in the sports and aquarium verticals.
- Identify and prioritize business opportunities to maximize revenue.
- Increase the effectiveness of the sales team by recognizing and implementing new approaches.
- Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, sales, and services.
- Understand and work effectively with sports venues and aquariums.
- Develop metrics to measure the growth and performance of the sales team, providing regular reports as needed.
- Create persuasive sales presentations using market trends, case studies, and campaign performance statistics.
- Analyze campaign performance statistics and recommend optimized media solutions.
- Manage data related to the consumption of the company’s products by sports venues and aquariums.
- Exceed sales, pricing, and yield goals for yourself and your team.
- Ensure that clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sponsorship sales and facility operations for sports venues and aquariums.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, client interactions, and best practices.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivation, and a positive attitude.
- Experience with telemarketing, social media, and data mining.
- Ability to work independently from a home office and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to create and deliver data-driven sales presentations.
- Experience in managing and mentoring sales teams.
- Availability to work from home, with leads provided.
