Position Title: Director of New Business Development – USA Military Baseball

About Sports Media: Sports Media is seeking an experienced Director of New Business Development to strengthen our relationship with the United States Military Baseball league. We are dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and satisfaction while maximizing revenue potential. Directors report directly to the President and play a pivotal role in driving sales objectives and goals.
Job Summary: As the Director of New Business Development for USA Military Baseball, you will be responsible for enhancing Sports Media’s presence within military sports leagues. This role requires expertise in team/league sponsorship sales, along with a comprehensive understanding of sports management. It offers a commission-based compensation structure, providing the potential to earn a mid to high six-figure income from your home office.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Utilize sports sponsorship knowledge to guide advertising strategies within military sports venues. Define the company’s approach and focus within the sports vertical.
- Opportunity Identification: Identify and prioritize business opportunities within the USA Military Baseball league. Develop new approaches to enhance league effectiveness and revenue growth.
- Client Interaction: Implement best practices for client interaction, sales, and services, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. Utilize market trends and performance statistics to recommend optimized media solutions.
- Sales Performance: Develop metrics to measure sales team growth and performance. Provide regular reports and insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Data Management: Manage and analyze sports consumption data to inform strategic decisions and drive revenue growth.
- Customer Service: Ensure clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service, fostering long-term partnerships.
Requirements:
- BA Degree in relevant field.
- Experience in military affairs and government contracting.
- Previous experience in league-team sports and sponsorship sales.
- Proficiency in telemarketing, social media, and data mining.
- Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a desire to succeed.
Compensation and Benefits: This is a commission-based role with a 401K and medical savings plan.
