As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Chief Operations Officer (COO) – Sales Leader to lead our sales teams and maximize revenue potential.
Position Overview:
The Chief Operations Officer (COO) – Sales Leader will be responsible for strengthening Sour Dog Media’s relationship with its sales teams, providing high-level leadership, and achieving assigned sales objectives and goals. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in venue sponsorship sales and a comprehensive understanding of venue and facility operations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, business acumen, and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strengthen Sour Dog Media’s sponsorship knowledge to guide venue operations.
- Define the company’s overall approach and focus in the Sour Dog vertical.
- Identify and prioritize business opportunities to maximize revenue.
- Increase the effectiveness of the sales team by recognizing and implementing new approaches.
- Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, sales, and services.
- Understand and work effectively with Sour Dog venues.
- Develop metrics to measure the growth and performance of the sales team, providing regular reports as needed.
- Create persuasive sales presentations using market trends, case studies, and campaign performance statistics.
- Analyze campaign performance statistics and recommend optimized media solutions.
- Manage data related to Sour Dog’s consumption of the company’s products.
- Exceed sales, pricing, and yield goals for yourself and your team.
- Ensure that clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in venue sponsorship sales and facility operations.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, client interactions, and best practices.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivation, and a positive attitude.
- Experience with telemarketing, social media, and data mining.
- Ability to work independently from a home office and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to create and deliver data-driven sales presentations.
- Experience in managing and mentoring sales teams.
- Availability to work from home, with leads provided.
