Administrative Assistant
Company: The Money Smarts
The Money Smarts, an event company, is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. This position will work closely with the assigned manager to assist with various administrative duties and office management tasks.
Responsibilities:
Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems, and basic bookkeeping tasks.
Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements, and other documents using word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software.
Respond to correspondence via email, phone, or mail.
Plan and schedule meetings and manage calendars.
Assist in the onboarding and training of new employees.
Answer phone calls and route them to the appropriate department.
Conduct regular research to support the company’s success.
Operate fax machines and scanners.
Interact regularly with all staff members, including the technical department.
Handle managerial duties in the absence of the manager.
Maintain office files and documents.
Ensure employee safety in the office.
Develop new ideas to improve the company’s profitability.
Identify and implement solutions to overcome company challenges.
Monitor staff performance and provide feedback.
Requirements:
Majoring in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
Excellent typing and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Enthusiastic about learning new things.
Strong writing skills and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in operating various office equipment such as fax machines, scanners, and telephones.
Ability to manage a team effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with business clients.
Friendly and polite demeanor.
Capable of handling difficult situations gracefully.
