Job Description:

Working on reality TV shows, you will gain hands-on experience in scene correction, visual narrative development, marketing, advertising, TV graphics, and more within a dynamic, real-world environment. Check with your career center for potential class credits and begin learning on the job. Proficiency in Adobe Master Collection and Microsoft tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• Goal-oriented digital editing to enhance storytelling.
• Facilitate communication between the director and production team.
• Review raw footage to determine shot list and ensure continuity.
• Trim and arrange content to maintain a logical sequence.
• Manipulate film and video footage to craft a cohesive project.
• Seamlessly integrate stills, footage, sound effects, dialogue, and animations.
• Produce the final cut ready for broadcast.

Requirements:

• Preferred majors in studio arts, film and visual editing, business/accounting, art history, communications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in multitasking and coordination.
• Passion for video editing.
• Attention to detail while maintaining perspective on the overall project flow.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
