Job Description:

Gain hands-on experience in reality TV production, learning scene corrections, visual storytelling, marketing, advertising, TV graphics, and more in a dynamic, real-world environment. Check with your career center for potential class credits. Start learning on the job with skills in Adobe Master Collection and Microsoft being beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• Work on reality TV shows to learn scene corrections, visual narrative, marketing, advertising, TV graphics, and other aspects.
• Collaborate with the production team to review raw footage and determine the shot list.
• Trim and edit content to ensure a logical sequence and narrative flow.
• Manipulate film and video footage to integrate stills, sound effects, dialogue, and animation effects.
• Create final cuts ready for broadcasting.

Requirements:

• Currently majoring in studio arts, film, visual editing, business/accounting, art history, or communications (preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to multitask and coordinate tasks effectively.
• Passion for video editing and storytelling.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining the overall project perspective.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
