Job Description:

We’re searching for a highly motivated and experienced Vice President of Government Contracting to join our team at Zoo Media. As the Vice President of Government Contracting, you’ll spearhead the development and execution of the company’s strategy for securing and managing government contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute strategies for winning government contracts.
2. Identify opportunities to cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and craft winning proposals.
3. Demonstrate leadership skills in proposal development and pricing strategies.
4. Cultivate and nurture relationships with government agencies, partners, and stakeholders.
5. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations governing government contracting, including FAR, DFAR, and other agency-specific requirements.
6. Oversee the entire lifecycle of government contracts, from pre-award activities to contract closeout.
7. Manage government contract performance, including monitoring, issue identification, risk assessment, and corrective action implementation.
8. Collaborate with various company departments, including business development, finance, legal, and operations, to ensure seamless contract execution.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. (Master’s degree preferred)
2. Proven track record of successfully winning and managing government contracts.
3. Strong understanding of government procurement regulations, including FAR and DFAR.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information effectively to diverse audiences.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for developing innovative solutions to intricate problems.
6. Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the capacity to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: $85,000.00 – $167,500.00 per year

This is a performance-based (commission only) role with overrides, along with Stock Incentives, 401K, and medical savings plan.
