Job Description:
OOH Sports is seeking an experienced Vice President and Director of New Business Development in Government Contracting. This position requires the successful candidate to strengthen OOH Sports’ relationship with state and federal governments by providing a high level of customer service and satisfaction. In addition, Directors are responsible for maximizing total revenue potential and achieving all assigned sales objectives and goals.
Government contracting experience is required, along with a complete understanding of the government bid process and search software operations. The OOH Sports Director will work from home and must demonstrate a great work ethic, entrepreneurial skills, excellent communication and organizational skills, self-motivation, a positive attitude, and a strong desire to succeed. Directors report directly to the President.
This is a performance-based (commission only with Stock Incentive Options) position. Do not apply unless you have what it takes to earn a mid to high 6-figure income. The successful candidate has the potential to earn six figures working from a home office. The company provides email, telephone, CRM, marketing materials, and training. This position may also be available to sales associates who have been unemployed for more than six (6) months and have the availability to work from home.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate strong government contracting knowledge
- Utilize OOH Sports sponsorship knowledge to guide OOH Sports venues
- Help define the company’s overall approach and focus in the government vertical
- Identify and prioritize business opportunities
- Increase the effectiveness of contracting by recognizing opportunities for new approaches
- Develop and implement best practices for government interaction, sales, and services, including a thorough understanding of the bidding process
- Develop metrics to measure the growth and performance of the sales team, and provide reports as needed
- Create persuasive sales presentations using market trends and case studies
- Analyze campaign performance statistics and recommend optimized media solutions
- Manage data on government consumption of the company’s products and services
- Exceed sales, pricing, and yield goals for yourself and your team
- Ensure that our clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service
Requirements:
- Proven experience in government contracting
- Comprehensive understanding of the government bid process and search software operations
- Experience in telemarketing, social media, and data mining
- Strong work ethic
- Entrepreneurial skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Strong desire to succeed
Compensation: $85,000.00 – $167,500.00 per year
