Dream Spas Travel Media is seeking an experienced Travel Agent for the Dream Spas Travel Agency. This position requires the successful candidate to strengthen Dream Spas Travel Media’s relationship with the Travel Department. Travel Agents play a crucial role in maximizing the travel industry’s potential by providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers in planning their trips.

Experience: Candidates must have travel agent experience along with proficiency in travel agency software systems. The ideal Travel Agent (or travel representative) will work remotely, demonstrating strong customer service skills, expertise in travel software management, effective verbal and written communication, and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Promote and market travel agency services effectively.
• Address customer queries and handle complaints in a professional manner.
• Provide guidance on visa and passport requirements.
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff as needed.
• Manage budgets and maintain accurate financial records.
• Plan and coordinate travel itineraries.
• Sell travel packages and insurance products.
• Meet profit and sales targets through proactive sales efforts.
• Prepare promotional materials and create appealing displays to attract customers.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Travel Agent or in a similar role within the travel industry.
• Comprehensive understanding of travel agency operations and software systems.
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and remotely, demonstrating self-motivation and a desire to achieve sales targets.
• Previous experience with incentive stock options, 401K plans, and travel savings plans is advantageous.
