Position: Account Executive – New Business Development

Sports Medical Group is seeking an experienced Account Executive for New Business Development. This position requires the successful candidate to strengthen relationships with brand managers and advertisers within the entertainment and advertising fields. Account Executives are pivotal in maximizing total revenue potential and achieving all assigned sales objectives and goals. This role reports directly to the CMO.
Compensation: This is a performance-based, commission-only position with potential earnings ranging from $95,000 to $175,000 per year. The successful candidate has the potential to earn a mid to high six-figure income, including overrides. Additional benefits include a 401K plan, medical savings plan, and incentive stock options.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize advertising and marketing knowledge to assist brand managers with media, advertising, and sponsorship sales.
- Define the company’s overall approach and focus within the advertising vertical.
- Identify and prioritize new business opportunities.
- Enhance the effectiveness of the advertising industry by recognizing and implementing new approaches.
- Develop and implement best practices for client interactions, sales, and services, with a deep understanding of the advertising industry.
- Develop metrics to measure the growth and performance of the sales team and provide reports as needed.
- Create compelling sales presentations using market trends and case studies.
- Analyze campaign performance statistics and recommend optimized media solutions.
- Manage data related to the consumption of Sports Medical Group’s products.
- Exceed sales, pricing, and yield goals for both yourself and your team.
- Ensure that our clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service.
Requirements:
- Experience in the advertising industry, particularly with agencies, corporate sales, and sponsorships.
- Comprehensive understanding of the advertising and sponsorship industry.
- Proficiency in telemarketing, social media, and data mining.
- Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a strong desire to succeed.
