Job Description:
Ride Fear Free is seeking an experienced Chief Veterinarian Medical Officer (CVMO) to oversee our organization’s Sales operations and procedures. As the top management figure, you will ensure the efficiency of our Veterinarian business unit. The CVMO role is integral to our senior management team, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). We are looking for a seasoned leader with exceptional people skills, business acumen, and exemplary work ethics. The goal of the CVMO position is to secure business functionality and drive extensive, sustainable growth.
This is a performance-based, commission-only position with incentive stock options, 401(k), and health savings plan eligibility after 120 days.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures.
- Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth.
- Establish policies that promote company culture and vision.
- Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (Marketing, Sales, Finance, etc.).
- Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication.
- Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.
- Write and submit reports to the CEO on all matters of importance.
- Assist the CEO in fundraising ventures.
- Participate in expansion activities such as investments, acquisitions, and corporate alliances.
- Manage relationships with partners/vendors.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chief Veterinarian Medical Officer or relevant role.
- Understanding of business functions such as Sales, HR, Finance, Marketing, etc.
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
- Experience in fundraising will be a plus.
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
- Familiarity with IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office.
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
- Veterinarian license, MBA, BSc/BA in Business Administration, or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus.
