Position: Vice President of Government Contracting

Sports Medical Group is seeking an experienced VP for Government Contracting. This position requires the successful candidate to strengthen Sports Medical Group’s relationships with State and Federal Government entities by providing exemplary customer service and satisfaction. Directors are tasked with maximizing total revenue potential and achieving all assigned sales objectives and goals. This role involves collaborating closely with the Sports Medical Group team and reports directly to the President.
Compensation: This is a performance-based, commission-only position with Stock Incentive Options. Potential earnings range from $85,000 to $167,500 per year. The successful candidate has the potential to earn a mid to high six-figure income while working from their home office. The company provides email, telephone, CRM, marketing materials, and training. Additional benefits include a 401K plan and a medical savings plan.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize government contracting knowledge to navigate and excel in the governmental sector.
- Apply sponsorship knowledge to enhance opportunities within governmental venues.
- Define the company’s overall strategy and focus within the Government vertical.
- Identify and prioritize new business opportunities.
- Innovate and improve contracting effectiveness by exploring new approaches.
- Develop and implement best practices for Government interaction, sales, and services, with a thorough understanding of the bidding process.
- Establish metrics to measure sales team growth and performance, providing detailed reports as required.
- Craft compelling sales presentations leveraging market trends and case studies.
- Analyze campaign performance statistics to optimize media solutions.
- Manage data related to governmental consumption of company products and services.
- Exceed sales, pricing, and yield goals for both personal and team achievements.
- Ensure clients receive top-tier sales and operational customer service.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in government contracting.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Government bid process and search software operations.
- Proficiency in telemarketing, social media, and data mining.
- Strong work ethic, entrepreneurial skills, and a commitment to success.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
