As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive for New Business Development to join our team.
Position Overview:
The Senior Account Executive for New Business Development will be responsible for strengthening Sour Dog Media’s relationships with brand managers and advertisers. This role involves maximizing total revenue potential and achieving all assigned sales objectives and goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the advertising industry, with experience working with agencies, corporate sales, and sponsorships. This remote position requires a self-motivated individual with a great work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strengthen relationships with brand managers and advertisers to drive sales.
- Define the company’s overall approach and focus within the advertising vertical.
- Identify and prioritize new business opportunities to maximize revenue.
- Increase the effectiveness of the advertising industry by recognizing and implementing new approaches.
- Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, sales, and services.
- Utilize a deep understanding of the advertising industry to guide media, advertising, and sponsorship sales.
- Develop metrics to measure the growth and performance of the sales team, providing regular reports.
- Create persuasive sales presentations using market trends, case studies, and campaign performance statistics.
- Analyze campaign performance statistics and recommend optimized media solutions.
- Manage data related to the consumption of the company’s products by sports venues and other clients.
- Exceed sales, pricing, and yield goals for yourself and your team.
- Ensure that clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in the advertising industry, with a strong background in working with agencies, corporate sales, and sponsorships.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivation, and a positive attitude.
- Experience with telemarketing, social media, and data mining.
- Ability to work independently from a home office and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to create and deliver data-driven sales presentations.
- Experience in managing and mentoring sales teams.
- Availability to work from home, with leads provided.
