Position: Regional VP of New Business Development
Company: Sports Medical Group
Sports Medical Group is seeking an experienced Regional VP of New Business Development to enhance our relationships with advertisers. The VP will play a critical role in maximizing total revenue potential and achieving all assigned sales objectives and goals within the Sports Medical Group advertising field. Reporting directly to the COO, the VP will drive strategic initiatives and foster growth opportunities.
Compensation: This is a performance-based, commission-only position with Incentive Stock Options. Successful candidates have the potential to earn a mid to high six-figure income working from a home office. Additional benefits include a 401K plan and a medical savings plan.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize advertising and marketing expertise to guide media advertising and sponsorship sales.
- Define the company’s overall approach and focus within the advertising vertical.
- Identify and prioritize new business opportunities.
- Innovate within the advertising industry by exploring new approaches.
- Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, sales, and services, with a deep understanding of the advertising industry.
- Establish metrics to measure sales team growth and performance, providing regular reports.
- Create compelling sales presentations using market trends and case studies.
- Analyze campaign performance statistics and recommend optimized media solutions.
- Manage data related to the consumption of Sports Medical Group’s products.
- Exceed sales, pricing, and yield goals for personal and team success.
- Ensure clients receive superior sales and operational customer service.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the advertising industry with agencies, teams, corporate sales, and sponsorships.
- Comprehensive understanding of the advertising and sponsorship industry.
- Proficiency in telemarketing, social media, and data mining.
- Strong work ethic, entrepreneurial skills, and dedication to success.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
Additional Opportunities: This position may be suitable for sales associates who have been unemployed for more than six months and are capable of working remotely.
