Position Overview:
The Regional Sales Manager will play a crucial role in driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and leading a team of sales professionals within the assigned region. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the sports apparel market and the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed regional targets, aligned with company objectives.
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team goals.
- Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and forecasts to senior management.
- Customer Engagement: Work closely with customers to understand their needs, provide solutions, and deliver exceptional service.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a management role.
- Strong knowledge of the sports and athletic apparel industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel within the assigned region as required.
