Job Description: Join Buy Sports Media and gain valuable experience as a nonprofit fundraiser. This role requires high energy and exceptional relationship-building skills, preparing interns for future roles as fundraising coordinators. You’ll be involved in sales, marketing, and public relations, contributing to the success of fundraising programs.
Responsibilities:
- Execute and manage fundraising programs, demonstrating strong multitasking abilities
- Identify new corporate sponsors and maximize fundraising opportunities through strategic business development techniques
- Draft letters of inquiry and funding requests, schedule presentations, and ensure timely follow-up
- Deliver compelling presentations using effective written and verbal communication skills
- Coordinate targeted advertising, sales, and marketing initiatives to promote Buy Sports Media’s services
- Advise on local fundraising strategies, plans, and budgets
- Provide support and guidance to volunteers in planning and executing their responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records and files for fundraising events and activities, reporting progress to supporters
- Coordinate production of collateral materials for fundraising events and programs
Requirements:
- Current undergraduate majoring in communications, business, marketing, sociology, public relations, or related fields
- 1-3 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising or special events preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong presentation skills, both oral and written
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
