**Position Overview:**
As a Sales Director, you’ll be responsible for leading and managing the sales team within your region, including Regional VPs, VPs, and senior account executives. Your primary focus will be on identifying and prioritizing business opportunities, driving sales growth, and building strong customer relationships. Reporting directly to the CEO and COO, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping our sales strategy and achieving financial targets.

**Key Responsibilities:**
– Manage and lead the sales team within your region, overseeing the performance and development of Regional VPs, VPs, and senior account executives.
– Identify and prioritize business opportunities to drive revenue growth and expansion within assigned territories and accounts.
– Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve annual sales targets and objectives.
– Cultivate strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their business needs and objectives.
– Collaborate with customers to effectively communicate the value proposition of our products and services through proposals and presentations.
– Stay informed about category-specific landscapes and trends, providing insights and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making.
– Report on factors influencing tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts, driving informed decision-making and resource allocation.
**Requirements:**
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational background.
– Previous experience in sales leadership roles such as sales executive, sales manager, or sales and marketing director.
– Proven ability to communicate, present, and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level leadership.
– Strong sales acumen with the ability to drive the sales process from planning to close.
– Demonstrated experience developing client-focused solutions and effectively positioning products against competitors.
– Outstanding work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit, and drive to succeed in a competitive industry.
– Excellent communication, organizational, listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
