We are seeking an experienced Creative Director of New Business Development who can conceive and implement visual marketing programs that range from print media to digital presentations to attract new business.
Position Overview:
The Creative Director will be responsible for developing engaging collateral for potential clients that tells a story and elicits an emotional response. The successful candidate will work closely with the design, graphic arts, and marketing teams to deliver content that exceeds expectations and secures new business. This role requires pitching new clients and maximizing total revenue potential, achieving all assigned sales objectives and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creative Leadership: Conceive and implement visual marketing programs that span various media, including print and digital.
- Client Engagement: Develop engaging collateral that tells a compelling story and elicits emotional responses from potential clients.
- Sales Pitching: Pitch new clients to maximize revenue potential and achieve sales objectives.
- Strategic Planning: Help define the company’s overall approach and focus within the Sour Dog vertical.
- Opportunity Identification: Identify and prioritize new business opportunities.
- Team Effectiveness: Increase team effectiveness by recognizing and implementing new approaches.
- Best Practices: Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, sales, and services.
- Performance Metrics: Develop metrics to measure the growth and performance of the sales team and provide regular reports.
- Sales Presentations: Create persuasive sales presentations using market trends, case studies, and campaign performance statistics.
- Data Management: Manage data related to the consumption of the company’s products by Sour Dog venues.
- Sales Goals: Exceed sales, pricing, and yield goals for yourself and your team.
- Customer Service: Ensure that clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service.
- Marketing Plans: Initiate and design complex and simple marketing plans based on client specifications.
- Project Management: Ensure that each project has the necessary financial and personnel resources for success.
- Sales Presentations Support: Attend sales presentations to help clients understand the creative angle of each marketing program.
- Firm Exposure: Work with the executive team to implement marketing materials that increase the firm’s exposure.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with design personnel to ensure all creative ideas are presented properly.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing required (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 5+ years’ experience in a marketing leadership role.
- Proven Success: Proven success in managing marketing teams.
- Portfolio: Portfolio of previous work that demonstrates the ability to turn an idea into a visual piece.
- Skills: Strong communication and computer skills; experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Marketing Design: Comprehensive knowledge of the marketing design process.
- Client Acquisition: Ability to obtain new clients and close deals.
- Work Ethic: Excellent work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivated with a positive attitude, and a desire to succeed.
- Remote Work: Ability to work independently from a home office.
