• Proofread and edit articles with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in spelling, punctuation, grammar, and syntax.
• Ensure articles are well-written and logically structured for clarity, accuracy, and flow.
• Maintain adherence to “house style” and uphold professionalism in writing.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Journalism, Communication, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word (or Google Docs), Excel, Publisher, and Slack (trainable).
• Strong editing, writing, grammar, and proofreading skills (expanded vocabulary is advantageous).
• Excellent communication skills, with a focus on effective communication between writers and editors.
• Ability to maintain the writer’s voice while editing.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision; self-motivated and disciplined.
• Team-oriented mindset with proficient computer and data entry skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
