Position Overview:
The Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) will be responsible for developing and implementing Sour Dog Media’s strategic vision and long-term growth plans. This executive role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the media industry, exceptional leadership abilities, and a proven track record of driving business success through innovative strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and articulate Sour Dog Media’s strategic vision, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission, values, and business goals.
- Lead the strategic planning process, including market analysis, competitive intelligence, and identification of growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define and prioritize key initiatives, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to achieve strategic objectives.
- Drive the execution of strategic initiatives, monitoring progress, and adjusting plans as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
- Identify and evaluate potential partnerships, acquisitions, and other growth opportunities that align with the company’s strategic goals.
- Lead efforts to innovate and transform the company’s business models, leveraging emerging trends and technologies in the media industry.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and investors.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to various departments, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy.
- Communicate the company’s strategic vision and progress to internal and external stakeholders, fostering a shared understanding and commitment to the company’s goals.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Media, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic planning and business development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the media industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful business strategies that drive growth and profitability.
- Strong knowledge of media industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on strategic thinking and innovation.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and other growth strategies is highly desirable.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
