Job Description:
Buy Sports Media is actively seeking an experienced Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to fortify our relationships with sports entities, advertisers, and VP’s while maximizing revenue potential and achieving ambitious sales objectives.
Experience: The ideal candidate must have a robust background in the advertising industry, specifically within sports, agencies, Fortune 500 companies, corporate sales, and sponsorship. A comprehensive understanding of the advertising and sponsorship landscape is essential. The CMO will operate remotely within Buy Sports Media and must possess exceptional work ethic, entrepreneurial skills, outstanding communication and organizational abilities, self-motivation, a positive attitude, and a relentless drive for success. The CMO reports directly to the CEO and COO.
This is a commission-only role, suitable only for candidates capable of earning a mid to high six-figure income. Candidates must be adept at telemarketing, social media strategies, and data mining. Leads will be provided, and the successful candidate has the potential to earn six figures while working from their home office.
This position may also be available to sales associates who have been unemployed for more than six (6) months and are seeking remote work opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize advertising and marketing expertise to lead media advertising and sponsorship sales.
- Define Buy Sports Media’s strategic approach and focus within the advertising vertical.
- Identify and prioritize lucrative business opportunities, driving innovation in advertising effectiveness.
- Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, sales, and service excellence, leveraging deep industry knowledge.
- Establish metrics to assess sales team growth and performance, delivering comprehensive reports as required.
- Create compelling sales presentations using market trends, case studies, and performance analytics to optimize media solutions.
- Manage data related to sports consumption of company products.
- Exceed personal and team sales targets, pricing, and yield goals while ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and operational excellence.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in the advertising industry, demonstrating success in sports, agencies, Fortune 500 corporate sales, and sponsorship.
- Thorough understanding of advertising and sponsorship dynamics.
- Proficiency in telemarketing, social media strategies, and data mining.
- Strong work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit, and self-motivation with a positive attitude.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, paired with exceptional organizational abilities.
- Passion for achieving results and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients.
Compensation:
- Commission-only with incentive stock options, plus 401K and medical savings plan.
- Potential earnings: $85,000.00 – $167,500.00 per year based on performance.
